Red Hat introduces Ansible Lightspeed for AI-driven IT automation

• The next phase of the Project Wisdom initiative provides an intelligent natural language processing capability for Ansible automation. Ansible Lightspeed with IBM Watson Code Assistant, a technical preview, adds domain-specific AI to make Ansible more accessible organization-wide, closing gaps in automation skills.
  

Red Hat accelerates IT automation with Event-Driven Ansible

• Event-Driven Ansible increases the value of IT investments across the enterprise, giving teams the freedom to innovate without compromising the quality and response times required in modern IT environments. After the always-on automation receives events from third-party tools, it uses predetermined responses to act automatically, enabling a more efficient and consistent IT management response.
  

Red Hat OpenShift AI accelerates generative AI adoption in the hybrid cloud

• Building on and building on the proven capabilities of Red Hat OpenShift and Red Hat OpenShift Data Science, Red Hat OpenShift AI provides IT operations leaders, data scientists, and developers with a unified solution to extend the lifecycle of AI/ML models and applications from experimentation to production.
  

Red Hat Red Hat introduces Red Hat Trusted Software Supply Chain

• Red Hat Trusted Software Supply Chain is a family of cloud services to meet the security needs of the software supply chain, building on Red Hat’s more than 30 years of experience delivering curated, hardened open-source software through direct ownership of this expertise of enterprise IT. Two new cloud services highlight this portfolio; Red Hat Trusted Application Pipeline provides CI/CD with built-in security ports, while Red Hat Trusted Content provides open-source software dependencies and verified packages to speed delivery while increasing security.
  

Red Hat introduces Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security Cloud Service to scale cloud-native security across the hybrid cloud

• Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security Cloud Service brings together Kubernetes-native security capabilities with the convenience of a fully supported, Red Hat managed cloud offering. The service supports Red Hat OpenShift on private and public clouds, as well as non-Red Hat Kubernetes services on major public clouds, including Amazon EKS, Google GKE, and Microsoft AKS.
  

Red Hat announces Red Hat Service Interconnect

• Red Hat Service Interconnect is a more secure and scalable solution to application interconnection challenges, designed to connect applications and microservices in the open hybrid cloud. Based on the upstream open source project Skupper.io, Red Hat Service Interconnect enables developers to easily migrate applications across multiple environments and create interconnections to communicate between container clusters on different networks and behind firewalls, without complex configurations and overhead.
  

Red Hat simplifies management for Red Hat Enterprise Linux in the hybrid cloud

• Red Hat sees the need for flexibility and standardization as essential to successful hybrid cloud adoption, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux is uniquely positioned to meet these demands. The new management capabilities, offered through console.redhat.com, build on Red Hat Insights – Insights can find potential issues, whether it’s a bug, misconfiguration, or vulnerability, and administrators can then use the console to create a … solution with a single click of the button. This same console also includes updates to the Red Hat image builder service, which can build standardized gold operating system images that can be deployed to a variety of environments almost instantly.
  

Red Hat unveils self-managed in-house development platform to enable agile development

• Red Hat Developer Hub is a self-managed in-house developer platform built from Spotify’s Backstage, designed to enhance the developer experience on Red Hat’s open hybrid cloud platforms. Red Hat Developer Hub provides a consistent self-service experience, leveraging a set of well-defined golden paths and supported Red Hat Backstage plugins to accelerate the onboarding and delivery of new applications.
  

Today’s announcements for customers and partners include:

• Red Hat helps transform the automotive industry at the edge with ETAS
  • Red Hat and ETAS will collaborate to deliver an automotive vehicle platform that will reduce development costs and further accelerate time-to-market for automakers. With a pre-integrated and tested base platform, automakers have a streamlined out-of-the-box developer experience to deliver application software running on an ETAS deterministic middleware solution, powered by the Red Hat In-Vehicle Operating System.
